You’ll explore key predictors of lasting behavior change and discover how micro experiments can be used to test and refine strategies. You will learn how to identify personal relapse triggers and how to be "technological" in applying evidence-based approaches to behavior change. By the end of the lecture, you will have the tools and knowledge to maintain lasting changes and navigate setbacks effectively.
Meet Your Instructor
Introducing your instructor, Dr. Michael J. Cameron, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA. Dr. Cameron is an expert in applied behavior analysis, behavioral medicine, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He has served as a professor of Behavioral Medicine at Simmons University and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where he taught doctoral-level courses. Currently, Dr. Cameron is the Director of the Interdisciplinary Behavioral Intervention Unit at Children's Hospital Orange County and holds an adjunct faculty position at the University of Southern California. He teaches in the Department of Psychology and the Master of Science Program in Applied Behavior Analysis. His clinical practice and research focus on applying ACT, applied behavior analysis, and behavioral medicine to manage challenging behaviors.
